Amanda is a Partner in the Property and Employment law departments with extensive experience of both commercial and residential property. She has developed a large following of loyal regular clients, acting for individuals, small businesses and overseas clients.

Having previously spent 15 years working at two Surrey based firms including managing a branch office as a Partner, she has a good understanding of the general development of a practice and the importance of achieving and satisfying the specific needs of clients. Working abroad has also increased her understanding of different types of clients and legal transactions.

Amanda’s commercial practice includes acting for property developers in land acquisitions, option agreements and the creation and sale of new leases for residential developments. She also assists clients with commercial leases and business acquisitions of restaurants, hair salons, dry cleaning businesses and residential nursing homes and provides advice to small business clients in respect of loan agreements and security documentation.

Having obtained a masters degree at Kingston University, Amanda also has experience acting for both employees and employers. She has carried out substantial research into the area of disability discrimination and the internet and has successfully negotiated generous settlements on behalf of clients and is able to provide advice in respect of bullying and harassment claims, unfair dismissal, redundancy and employment contracts.

Amanda’s residential practice includes providing advice in respect of both statutory and voluntary lease extensions and various aspects of leasehold enfranchisement and assisting overseas clients with off-plan purchases in London. She is also able to assist clients with landlord and tenant disputes and possession proceedings.
