Greg is a consultant solicitor in our Property Litigation team covering a range of real estate disputes. Greg also undertakes commercial litigation for his clients and has been the instructing solicitor in commercial cases up to the Court of Appeal.
Greg’s property litigation work includes commercial landlord & tenant such as lease renewals, forfeiture and dilapidations, land disputes including rights of way and adverse possession and residential landlord & tenant including possession proceedings and claims against squatters. Greg has particular experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry having acted for several restaurant chains, cinema chains and retailers.
Greg is regularly instructed in the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) proceedings including, modification of covenants, service charge disputes, enfranchisement and right to manage claims and disputes.
Greg also specialises in Professional Negligence claims against property professionals such as builders, surveyors, architects and property lawyers.
Greg’s Commercial Litigation work includes director and shareholder disputes and commercial contract disputes.
Greg is an experienced advocate with Higher Rights of Audience (civil) regularly representing clients in the County Court and the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). He also has experience of appearing as an advocate in the High Court and the Bankruptcy and Companies Court.
Greg regularly represents his clients in alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation.
Greg is a member of the Property Litigation Association, the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association, the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates and is a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 2016 who describe him as a lawyer who “works tirelessly to get a good result for clients”.
