Fletcher Day welcomes Adam Taylor
Published: 23 June 2016
Adam Taylor recently transferred his practice from Child & Child to join the firm’s growing and highly regarded insolvency department which is now headed up by three partners. Adam trained with a city firm and was a partner at CKFT for over 15 years.
Since qualification in the early 1990s the focus of Adam’s practice has been on banking and insolvency litigation, and debt recovery for clients who regularly instruct him, often on complex matters involving fraud and cross-border. He acts for Insolvency Practitioners working in a broad range from smaller practices through to top 20 firms, banks, lending institutions, directors and those trying to manage collection of debt for their businesses. He also acts for and provides insolvency and recovery advice to a large government body from whom he has received regular volume instructions for some 19 years.
Adam has been described as “chasing debt down like it is his own” and is often complimented and recommended for his commercial approach, speed of response and his ability to achieve swift and cost-effective solutions for clients through application of his extensive legal experience and by thinking “outside of the box”. Outside of the office Adam enjoys spending time with his family and when off duty from providing “dad’s taxi service” to his two daughters, enjoys cycling, eating out, theatre and cinema, and has a particular passion for cars (watching and driving rather than repairing!).
