Chris is a Partner in our Property Litigation team. He has extensive experience in real estate dispute resolution having worked at leading city firm, Field Fisher Waterhouse, for almost 10 years.
Chris is experienced in a wide range of commercial property litigation issues including business lease renewals, possession proceedings, property management issues, service charge disputes, tenant default, rent recovery, dilapidations, break options, alienation, forfeiture and other aspects of commercial landlord and tenant law. Chris often provides support on transactional projects.
He is widely experienced in disputes concerning sale and purchase of land, real property issues (such as easements, restrictive covenants and adverse possession) and residential property law, including enfranchisement.
Chris has acted for a wide variety of clients across a range of sectors. His clients have come from the industrial, institutional, investment, retail and energy sectors and have included multinational companies, property investment funds, government departments, charities, medium size businesses and individuals.
He has experience in resolving disputes through mediation and other alternative methods of ADR as well as through litigation (including the Courts and Land Registry Adjudication).
Chris has written extensively for journals and publications and has edited various chapters for on-line real estate resources. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
