Nick Evans advises on all aspects of employment law and industrial relations including business protection/restrictive covenants, TUPE, discrimination, redundancy programs and claims.
He also advises individuals, clubs and organisations in the sports sector on contractual issues, regulatory matters and other sports law issues.
Nick has significant expertise in the legal aspects of change management including mergers, acquisitions and restructures.
Before joining the firm Nick was a Partner in a City practice and a Director of Legal Services at a legal and people management consultancy. Previously, as Head of Employment at TfL, he led the in-house team advising on all the employment law and industrial relations aspects of the £7bn London Underground PPP and other PFI projects.
Nick has considerable experience in business protection arrangements, in the practical application of TUPE and has advised on large scale transactions in the public and private sectors including: pre-tender assessment and qualification, due diligence, indemnities and warranties, consultation and post-completion issues.
He is a former member of the CBI National Employment Law Panel and regularly presents for clients, professional organisations and the CIPD as well providing commentary for press and TV.
Nick’s clients include Insurers, professional services firms, corporates and senior individuals from both the public and private sectors as well as sports men and women, sports clubs and organisations, managers, agents, and intermediaries.
